ONIT GROMMIT: PETER COOPER

This kid is quick. We first saw him ride at the 06 National round at Treble Cone, his first National round and he absolutely ripped. Pete not only won the Under 17 class, his time was quick enough to have won the Under 19's and place 11th in pro. He crashed out in round 2 at Coronet Peak, breaking a bone is his shoulder. He then bounced back for the North Island rounds, winning on the tough Wanganui course. A couple of crashes saw him finish 2nd and 5th in the final 2 rounds which led to a 2nd overall (not bad from only 4 races).
Next year he's gona be racing under 19 - watch out, Pete is on it.

Favourite NZ Rider: Nathan Rankin, Justin Leov, they are all good guys.
Favourite sounds: as long as its not rap.
Favourite DVD’S: Comedys, and of course DH vids.
Whats something you can't do now but want to do in near future: Pay my parents back.
My goal in MTB is:  To win the 2007 u19 Full suspension Class at the Nationals.
Dream place to ride is:  Whistler
